It is our belief that education is a route to the well-being of the individual. We believe in equal opportunities for all the children in our school, irrespective of social background, culture, race, gender or ability. In order to ensure future progress and success, we aim to provide a curriculum that is broad and balanced. It is our belief that we should provide a learning environment that is motivating, exciting and caring, in order for a child to develop a sense of high self-esteem and academic achievement.
I am very pleased to introduce you to Elliott Park School; a caring community where children thrive. On our website you will see why we have developed this reputation where each pupil has maximum opportunity to realise his or her potential. You will already be aware how important it is to choose the right school for your son or daughter and we hope that the information here will help you make this decision.
Elliott Park School was founded as an Independent School by the late Richard Fielder, with a class of twelve pupils in September 1985, based in buildings in Sheerness. It moved to its present, purpose-built site, including a Head Teacher’s house, in April 1986.
"My daughter attended Elliott Park School from the age of three and a half years old. The reception class was excellent and my daughter made speedy progress through fun and educational tasks. Elliott Park ensures that all the children are respectful to each other and through its small classes everyone is able to have the care and attention which they need. Every child enjoys going to school and develops a desire to learn. In her final year my daughter was made Head Girl and enjoyed this role. The teachers encouraged her to reach her true potential. After being successful in Grammar school selection exams she is continuing to apply the same basic concepts to her secondary education which she learnt at Elliott Park. I would not hesitate to recommend this school to anyone who wants their children to develop a thirst for learning and also to develop into conscientious individuals."
"Making decision about our children's future has always been a major concern to us, always worrying about 'are we doing the right thing?' Sending our two children to Elliott Park has been one of the best decisions we have made.
Our eldest son has now left the school. His time at Elliott Park enabled him to become a 'well-rounded' individual. He thoroughly enjoyed school life; achieving well academically enabling him to move on to his preferred school of choice. He was also given the opportunity to represent the school in a variety of sports activities; this would not have been the case in a larger school. He also took part in end of term concerts, which he loved. All of these things helped our son to be more confident in himself and we feel this inspired him to do well.
Our younget son still attends Elliott Park and he too is flourishing, enjoying the opportunities the school provides, being able to learn in a relaxed atmosphere with good family values. His progress has been great and he too loves going to school. He is offered support and guidance on a daily basis and we, as parents, are always kept up to date with his progress. Elliott Park clearly works hard to maintain a good school/home relationship, which is important to us.
"We just wanted to say thank you for allowing us to visit the school, we were so impressed and appreciate having the chance to look around. The children are an absolute credit to you, so polite and happy, we are very much looking forward to our daughter seeing it all for herself."
We are currently recruiting a part time French Teacher to start at our school from April 2018. Please contact us on 01795 873372 or email [email protected] for an application form.
