£5,000,000 public liability insurance cover is also provided by Kaleidoscope Music Ltd during contracted events.
All of our customers are different, be they individuals or large corporations. This means we need to think carefully how we meet your needs. We can help to get things just right in many different ways – for example, selecting the right size band or ensemble, choosing different methods of amplification, advising on an appropriate selection of repertoire, establishing the suitable dress code for our musicians and making sure that we are aware of any particular protocol connected with your function. All of this demands a real attention to detail and the knowledge of professional musicians.
We provide full support and an ongoing service to our customers which sometimes requires face to face meetings, musical demonstrations, or logistical support at the event itself.
Welcome to Kaleidoscope Music & Entertainment
Kaleidoscope provide professional musicians and entertainers at weddings, dinners, receptions, small and large scale outdoor events. Primarily within Hampshire, Dorset, Sussex, Oxfordshire, Surrey, Kent and Greater London.
Whilst many other music services, entertainment agencies, event management companies seem quite happy to bombard customers with a vast database of performers (regardless of quality, reliability or professionalism), our website provides you with a smaller, selected list of experienced artistes that have satisfied the high standards we require.
Naturally, we also provide clients with a full event management service including technical support & logistics planning.
Kaleidoscope continues to provide and manage professional performers at a number of major events around the UK each year. Preparation often begins a year in advance and our requirement to source musicians, entertainers, technical and management staff can often exceed 250 personnel at each event. We have an excellent track record in delivering our services to clients.
Our work can be seen at a number of motor sport events, national conferences, horse racing meetings and public concerts. Every event is important to us from a small village fête to a large scale festival. We often find ourselves providing additional help at the ‘last minute’ when a client needs help with something overlooked in another field of industry!
As a company established by a number of senior ex-military band musicians, we continue a strong relationship with all three services within the armed forces. Whilst the music performed at mess dinners, parades and summer balls may have changed slightly with the times, protocol and tradition carries no flexibility and is an area of expertise we can strongly assist with.
Alongside providing music for the main service establishments within the south of England (for example a string quartet & bugler), we are often engaged to provide music on a larger scale (orchestra & marching band) at many of the major venues in London, including Stationers Hall, The Tower of London, Banqueting House, The Guildhall and Buckingham Palace. In addition to providing the overall music required for a military event, we also have our own extensive library of music containing most of the world’s National Anthems along with many regimental marches. Just like any military training exercise, peacetime events also require good logistics planning in advance, liaising carefully with the key people involved in the planning and booking process. The amount of service bands available for support at civilian (and military) events has declined during the last few years, however a growing number of civilian military style ensembles have become established as an alternative approach.
