Milbourn Equine is proud to be a voluntary member of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) Practice Standards Scheme.
As an accredited practice, all our branches have passed an assessment carried out by an experienced RCVS Assessor who is also a qualified Veterinary Surgeon. The assessment focus on a range of standards such as hygiene, legal standards and health and safety. The practices also have to have access to a range of diagnostic facilities, and at Milbourn Equine, we have specialist equipment such as digital X-Ray and ultrasonography facilities over and above those required for the Practice Standards Scheme.

We provide our own out of hours emergency service 365 days of the year provided by our own team

Mission Statement
Milbourn Equine Vets Ltd is a modern veterinary group with traditional values; offering a very high standard of veterinary medicine. It is run by Veterinary Surgeons assisted by a dedicated support team.
hence the name. It was the first Equine Hospital in England and provided specialist equine veterinary care throughout Kent and Sussex.
In 2008 Milbourn Equine joined forces with the Equine division of Cinque Ports Veterinary Group before forming the solely equine Milbourn Equine Vets Ltd in 2011.
In 2018 Milbourn Equine and Cinque Ports Vets entered into partnership with the Linnaeus Group who own veterinary practices nationwide. Three of our Directors
continue to retain a stake in the business and will remain running the practice as well as continuing to see clients. This partnership will provide long term stability for the practice with opportunities for future investment. The day to day running of the practice will be unchanged and please be assured that it is very much business as usual. We look forward to continuing to provide the excellent service you have come to expect from all of us at Milbourn Equine and Cinque Ports Vets.

We provide a wide range of services most of which can be performed at your yard or premises. Alternatively you can come to our clinic where ample parking is available.
We are an RCVS accredited practice and we operate a
, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year provided by our own veterinary team. In the event of an emergency, please contact your normal surgery number and you will be directed to our emergency call centre who will contact our duty vet.
Milbourn Equine Vets are also associated with Cinque Ports Vets who have small animal branches in Ashford, Hawkhurst, Lydd, Rye, Tenterden and Wye.
