Matthew Charles Cox is the founder and owner of Charles Cox Limited and has been in the Industry since 2003. He has experience of all aspects of leasehold and general property management including the FTTPC (previously know as the LVT), Right to Manage, enfranchisement, fire risk assessments, long term maintenance plans and budgeting. He even has some experience with ASTs. Matthew is currently working towards numerous corporate or individual memberships to professional bodies. He was also an Associate Partner at Lewes based Clifford Dann LLP for a number of years. Having had involvement with hundreds of properties across the South Coast and up to London Matthew has been able to build up a wealth of experience within the property industry. He knows more than most the ability to find a solution is key in the world of leasehold.
Having also studied Business Management, social media and marketing and university Matthew has managed to built up some useful skills in other area.

In our capacity as Managing Agent, we can act as the Company Secretary and the Registered Office to help fulfil your obligations, both in terms of Estate Management and from a Company point of view.
On appointment, we would undertake all of the obligations of the Lessor under the terms of the Lease. We will liaise closely with the Directors of the Management Company, taking instructions on matters relating to the efficient management of the property. We would provide advice and guidance to the Directors on legal obligations relating to the Landlord & Tenant Act and the Commonhold and Leasehold Reform Act 2002, and other statutory requirements. We would also provide information on other matters such as Health & Safety, i.e Asbestos in the Workplace Regulations 2002, Lift Health & Safety requirements etc. The frequency of the inspections would be by agreement with the Directors. We would also be prepared to attend as many Board meetings a year, including the Company’s AGM, subject to negotiation.
Charles Cox covers a radius from Hastings to Worthing and inland to Uckfield. Managing a wide range of coastal properties, Charles Cox is experienced in providing long term maintenance plans and being proactive when it comes to planning for the unexpected.
