Little Sunflowers Child Care is the dream of Jacqui Clark who has over 21 years of childcare experience. All those years ago, Jacqui struggled to find a nursery in the local area that provided a nurturing environment for her son to develop, learn and play. Determined to provide that care for her son and other children in the area Little Sunflowers Child Care was born.
The nursery remains a family run and owned business with Jacqui still onsite everyday along with her son and daughter who are also onsite full time.
This isn't Jacqui's business, this is the wish that became a dream that is now a reality. Over the years the nursery has become a second home to everyone that has walked through our doors.
Little Sunflowers Child Care is your home away from home and we believe we have created a warm and welcoming environment to all our parents, carers and children. We recognise that it is your right and responsibility to raise your child with your beliefs and experiences accepted as valid. It is our job to ensure we compliment these beliefs.
There are increasing demands being made on child care facilities, as all parents want the very best for their children, right from their very first learning experiences. In addition, there is now a marked trend towards intellectual education for children, but still children also need to play, move, get enough exercise and discover their own bodies. It is our responsibility to work with those needs in mind and work as a team with the parents and sometimes alongside other proffesionals to achieve this. We support each child through their own development to ensure they get off to the best possible start. Using the EYFS we track and monitor all children to ensure we are enabling children to reach their full potential.
