Who We Are
Lymm Tax Services is owned and run by Jane Swain assisted by Champa Patel
Jane is a chartered accountant and chartered tax adviser with over 25 years’ experience advising small businesses and private individuals.
Jane moved to Lymm from London in 2011 and set up Lymm Tax Services to provide expert tax advice and accountancy services to the local community.
Champa is also a qualified accountant, having spent her career to date principally within industry. She joined Lymm Tax Services in April 2017 but has known Jane since their university days.
The advantage of working with Lymm Tax Services is an unparalleled service from people who care. You, the client, will always know who is dealing with your affairs: a godsend if you are used to having to decide who, of several people in a firm, is the appropriate one to contact or, worse still, you deal with a different person every time you need to speak to “your accountant”.

We charge on an hourly basis but, once we understand something about your business, usually give fixed quotes in advance for recurring compliance work.
We encourage businesses to keep their costs down by doing the “donkey work” of the bookkeeping themselves by using Clearbooks “cloud” based accounting software.
We teach you how to use this and with it being in the “cloud” we can easily keep an eye on what you are doing to ensure you don’t get into a mess, resolve any problems you may have and correct any mistakes you make.

Establishing and running a small business is exciting but it can also be daunting. Government bodies are not very forgiving when it comes to mistakes and don’t hold back on charging you penalties for getting it wrong.
