Gothic Metal is a family run company, formed from our love of design and art mixed with knowledge of construction and blacksmithing, we are known for our beautiful and original artistic bespoke designs, exceptional craftsmanship, coupled with professional, friendly & helpful service.
Our goal is to always provide our customers with high quality products and service. we welcome the challenge to take on any order, no matter how obscure, unusual, taxing, large or small.
The majority of our projects are bespoke commissions, either a clients own designs, old photos or images to recreate historic works or a clients own specific brief, which can be vague or highly complex and we then create a design, making it unique and personal.
We are extremely proud of the work we produce and hand craft as much of the decoration as possible, using traditional blacksmith forge techniques, this by its nature gives each item gives individuality, uniqueness and original style.
In the current culture of mass production and disposal, there is a beauty to items hand crafted using the processes and quality of times long gone.
We are passionate about our design and craft and have a dusty old library of books covering historical design and styles including, Gothic, Medieval, Renaissance, Tudor, Romaneque, Rococo, Art Nouveau, Baroque, Elizabethan, Victorian, Edwardian, Recency, Edwardian, Heraldic, Jacobean, Post Medieval, Art Deco, Arts and Crafts, Middle Ages/Post classical, Stuart Period, Celtic, Norman, Anglo Saxon and Modern Britain from 1900 onwards as well as a good few Sci-Fi.
