Planit-X Town and Country Planning Services was formed in 2010 and provides high-quality town and country planning services in support of local communities.

Colin is a company Director and prior to Planit-X he was Assistant Chief Executive at Melton Borough Council with responsibility for corporate policy and performance. He has been a Member of the Royal Town Planning Institute since 1986 and has worked as a planner in both the private and public sector. He has given evidence at Local Plan public inquiries, Structure Plan and RSS Examinations in Public. Colin has won Royal Town Planning Institute East Midlands Branch prizes for his work and is well known across the region.

Planit-X provides high-quality town and country planning services in support of local communities. We work with developers, the local planning authority and local people to provide the homes and jobs the community need while protecting important open spaces and landscapes.

We provide a full range of planning services to the public and private sector and… because we believe that local people must have a say in how their neighbourhoods develop… we also advise neighbourhood groups; including town and parish councils. By reconciling the needs of the developer with those of the community and planning authority, proposals make smoother progress.
