At the London Center for Ear Aesthetics and Reconstruction, David Gault FRCS treats all types of disease and deformity of the external ear. There are a great many ways of classifying these conditions, from minor to major, aesthetic to reconstructive, and congenital (meaning present from birth) to acquired (meaning problems which develop later).

About David Gault
David Gault qualified at Edinburgh University, trained in Plastic Surgery in London, and gained further experience in Paris, California and Japan. He was Consultant Plastic Surgeon at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood, Middlesex and The Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London, England, and Honorary Senior Lecturer at University College, London. A Visiting Professor, he set up the UK’s first ear reconstruction centre over twenty years ago.
David Gault has written over 160 academic publications, and is a regular faculty member and invited speaker at international meetings.

Welcome to the Ear Aesthetics and Reconstruction site of Consultant Plastic Surgeon David Gault MB ChB FRCS. Working within the National Health Service for almost thirty years, he offered an expert ear reconstruction service at Mount Vernon Hospital, Northwood and The Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street. In 2006, he set up the London Centre for Ear Reconstruction, centred at the Portland Hospital.
David Gault sees babies, children and adults, UK and international patients, and private and NHS referrals (by prior arrangement through an Individual Funding Request) at his clinics in and around London. All types of misshape, deformity and disease of the external ear are treated, from minor to major, aesthetic to reconstructive, and congenital to acquired problems such as ear cancer, chondritis (inflammation of the ear cartilage), failed cosmetic surgery and trauma after bite injuries, burns and accidents.
