The principal, Pat Alexander, is an Advanced Member of National Back Exchange and is a Chartered Physiotherapist. She leads a highly qualified team of trainers, all of whom have a professional healthcare qualification, and have also taken post-qualification/graduation courses in manual handling and teaching. We provide a service of medico-legal reports in the field of manual handling injuries to both staff and clients, which ensures that our work is current and legally sound. We understand the importance to an organisation of protecting their staff and clients, as well as meeting their legal requirements.
These achievements not only inform and emphasise our currency and wide-ranging experience in this filed, but also show that our company is well-regarded internationally as well as nationally.
We have since added Dementia, Falls and Safeguarding courses to our repertoire, and can also provide tailored courses for clients. Recent examples include Re-ablement, Single handed care and Level 3 award in Education and Training.
Pat has the most genuinely pleasant persona you could ever come across. In a world where everyone is trying to prove themselves over their competitors, she is a breath of fresh air. Always helpful, even as a competitor, she views the concept of safe patient handling more important than business objectives. I have learned a lot from her approach.
Just a quick note to say that the session delivered to the FdSc Paramedics by Pat Alexander of Herts Handling Training has received excellent feedback. She taught them from 0930-1645 and students were impressed with the opportunity to practice all techniques. They also commented on her enthusiasm for the subject.
