The Hoddington Arms, or ‘the Hodd’ as most locals know it is the only pub in the pretty village of Upton Grey, Hampshire and is situated between Basingstoke, Hook and Alton. Originally a destination pub, in recent years its fortunes suffered and the lovely old building was falling into disrepair. Four local businessmen decided the village deserved a great pub, so bought the freehold and lovingly restored ‘the Hodd’ to its former glory and a bit more.
