The Pluka was designed and built by Dixi Product Design Ltd, with the original concept dreamed up by Andrew Kennedy, the principle designer at Dixi.

Andrew found that the products available on the market at this time were expensive and underperforming, and realised that there was a niche in the market for something better.

“We run a small shoot in South West Scotland: our bag number is too small and we are too remote for a game dealer to come and collect, and high fuel prices make delivering them expensive. The Pluka allows us to quickly and easily pluck the bag within an hour: with the P71’s vacuum filter, there is no dust in our game larder.”

Q: I run a small butchers shop in Devon, we sell a 150+ brace of pheasants, plus duck etc through the season. Would this be a suitable machine?

This item comes complete but requires a small amount of assembly before use (approx 10 minutes – all you need is a 17mm spanner, other tools provided).

The pluka P71 includes a wall-mounted cyclonic vacuum system which has a three-stage dust filter, making it the cleanest plucking machine in the world as well.
