Create IT is headed by Chris Clarke, Ben Cope, and Andrew Smith; school friends who grew up together in Newbury before leaving for the wider world of IT, later to return and combine their fields of expertise into a successful and trusted company.
We focus on providing managed IT services: hosted services (file sharing, business email, and more) and software development, as well as consultancy and project management. Create IT can develop bespoke systems, rather than relying solely upon reselling other vendor’s software, covering anything from CRM to manufacturing control systems, this also saves our customers’ money when compared to traditional licensing and software maintenance costs.
An advantage of building a business with friends is that you’re working with people who already know your strengths and capabilities; it’s not like going into business with a stranger. As a result, clients who have met with the three directors are immediately impressed with the immediate air of trust that the three can create because they really know each other.
When we first started Create IT in 2010 we had an overarching goal to develop a reputation for providing the right service to our clients. Now, many years later, we have gone further than we imagined towards achieving that – just read our client testimonials.
Create IT was formed and started out in an annexe on Ben’s parents’ farm in Enborne, Newbury. The business has since expanded and Create IT helps clients based in London, Berkshire, Oxfordshire and around the UK.
We love what we do, and we enjoy developing new and innovative ways to save companies money and provide them with peace of mind. And we do all of this from our new premises in Thatcham Business Park.
