This is our main area of business. We have been specialising in sympathetically renovating old beams for nearly 8 years. We are also able to clean new/green oak.
We are a specialist dry ice blasting company based in Essex, but we cover East Anglie, the home counties , and many more areas. We are a mobile blasting company. We offer both RESIDENTIAL and COMMERCIAL services. We have recently undertaken several projects on grade 1 listed and grade 2 star listed properties, as well as carrying out restoration work on an vintage Landrover 80, and helping to restore 2 fire damaged cottages in Essex.
The carbon dioxide is environmentally friendly, as it is a bi-product of an alternative manufacturing process and is recycled. By using solid CO2, no extra cleaning medium is added to the cleaning process, and all that remains is the contaminent being removed.

We are also able to offer poultice cleaning, which is suitable for paint removal from softwoods such as pine doors, and delicate surfaces and spindles and bannisters, as well as also removing paint from oak beams
With over 19 years’ experience in the industry myself, Claire McKennon knows a thing or two about Oak Beam Restoration in Essex. Years ago if you wanted to get your beams restored the only real solution would be to sandblast them.
