About Kyles Legal Practice
Kyles Legal Practice is one of the North East’s premier crime, family and prison law specialists. Established in 2010 by a group of highly experienced lawyers, the firm is respected nationally and has developed a reputation for delivering outstanding legal services.
What makes us different to any other firm is that we were the first legal firm to take advantage of the Legal Services Act 2007 that opened up the legal market. As a result of this legislation the directorship of the firm is made up of two experienced criminal barristers and an experienced prison law solicitor. The fact that the law now allows us to form this type of legal partnership means that we can offer our clients a full in-house service. In relation to criminal and prison law, the benefit to the client is that this approach provides consistency in representation throughout and our lawyers will act for you in the police station and any Court without having to resort to others who will not have any real knowledge of the case.
At Kyles Legal Practice, our well respected team of family lawyers will try and help you resolve any difficulties by encouraging the parties to communicate, to negotiate and to attempt all other methods of resolving problems without resorting to confrontation and litigation. We will always explore alternatives to court – for example mediation – but we recognise that some cases will demand urgent action and we will not for one moment hesitate to go to court when the need arises to help defend and or protect the best interests of our clients.
As a firm, whatever the matter, we will deal with your case in a sensitive and professional manner. We pride ourselves on our high level of client care and communication. We have been recognised for the innovation shown in information technology development and this assists in our goal of ensuring that you are never left in the dark. Great communication is and always will be intrinsic to what we do. We will explain things at all times in plain English, and where appropriate we will ensure that advice and documentation is translated if English is not your first language. We will at all times explain all the available options to you in relation to your case and will always listen to you and your views and alleviate your concerns wherever possible. We will ensure that those aims and goals are achieved by being available to meet with you face to face, by being readily available to speak to you when you telephone, or email and we will where appropriate communicate by video conferencing where facilities make this possible.
No matter what your legal problem, we are here to help, 24 -7, and we are dedicated to providing to you high quality, professional, specialist advice. We are confident that we have the team of paralegals, solicitors and barristers that can provide you with the best possible legal service at all times.
