From the outset, our mission has been to do something we enjoy and to do it well, working with people we respect in an industry we love. And eight years on, we’re still managing to have some fun along the way! In April 2011, we moved into “The Shed”, a purpose-built office at our Berkshire base. It’s a great place to work, think and get creative with clients and is a real commitment to our business’ future.
Melanie is MJO’s founder and MD. With more than 20 years international marketing experience, she has worked in broadcast tech, entertainment, telecoms and retail, including companies such as Sony and Sky, where she helped launch Sky+. Covering both B2C & B2B, Melanie has developed and implemented effective marketing communications programmes, via the channel and through-the-line. She is hands-on, creative and driven by results. Melanie brings to the team in-depth knowledge of today’s broadcast market and the expertise to successfully deliver creative yet workable solutions, on time and on budget.
Paul Wilkins is a director of MJO Communications Ltd. He is a leading and respected broadcast technologist with over thirty years’ experience directing complex solutions for media & IT systems. Over this time, he has designed solutions and implemented projects across the world, launched leading-edge broadcast products and managed sales and technical teams. In 2009, Paul established
, providing Solution Architecture, Programme and Project Management services to broadcast clients and technology providers worldwide. He brings to MJO valuable insight and understanding of the broadcast industry, from a business, operational and technology perspective.

was created in 1975 and celebrates over 37 years of fundraising for the benefit of blind and partially sighted children. We have donated equipment including Mini buses, Sensory rooms, computer equipment, playground equipment, as well as holiday and weekend breaks for these children and their families. Making life easier for this community is our credo and there are always more opportunities we can explore.
