Since establishing the company in 2009 we’ve have gone from strength to strength. We started with just 4 family members in 2009 specialising in Solar Thermal. Now, we have a 10 strong team and many more installers and sub-contractors. We now offer a number of services and have installed more than 40,000 measures.

Ryan has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Accounting & Finance and a Masters in applied Project Management. He worked in the construction sector before setting up GHE Solar and has a vast knowledge of the industry with experience in both small and large projects.
Scott started his career in an accountancy practice before becoming involved in the property development business. He holds a Masters Degree in applied finance from the University of Queensland, Australia as well as an accountancy qualification. Scott has a track record of implementing and maintaining tight financial controls, he also trained in Site Management Safety and BS7671 Level 3 Electrical.
As the general manager, Matt makes it his business to know what is going on across the business and oversees all operations. He has a wide knowledge of the industry, is very reliable and an essential part of GHE. He is also the manager of a successful football team!
ECO Submissions Manager
Michelle has over 15 years experience in office procedure and is meticulous, scrupulous and accurate which makes her ideal as GHE's Submission Manager overseeing all of the ECO Submissions.
Prior to working at GHE, Sharon worked for The Prudential Insurance Company of America, Deloitte and Touche Taiwan. She has a bachelor's degree in Ethnology from National Chengchi University, Taiwan and has a masters in accounting from the University of Queensland, Australia. She is also an ACCA Qualified Accountant and speaks fluent English, Mandarain Chinese and other Chinese dialects. She is a great asset for GHE.

CIGA (The Cavity Wall Insulation Guarantee Agency) is an independent body that provides 25 year guarantees for Cavity Wall Insulation fitted by registered installers in the UK. All members installers of CIGA are assessed for competence and must follow the technical guidance for the material used and CIGA Best Practice Guidance.
The CIGA Guarantee covers defects in materials or workmanship, and in the event of a problem CIGA’s technical department is there to help. The 25 Year CIGA Guarantee is sent out in the post after the install is completed.

The next step is the Tech Survey. It is required to gain funding for the works as it must be submitted to the energy company as evidence that the property is suitable for the works. Without this survey there is no evidence and therefore no funding. The survey is completed by a qualified energy assessor.
