Darke Engineering Ltd is a privately owned company serving the gas, water and oil industry specialising in high pressure welded steel pipelines, associated above ground installations and civil engineering works.

, who collectively have over 40 year’s experience within the pipelines and multi-utility fields. The company aims to bring a fresh approach to the industry through its professional and reliable service, whilst being committed to maintaining the highest standards of health, safety and environmental awareness.
Paul has worked within the pipeline industry since the late 1980’s, commencing his career as a general labourer at North Thames Gas Region on several high pressure gas installations. Increasing his roles and responsibilities over the years, Paul now directs all operational aspects of the business as well as being responsible for HSEQ matters working alongside our SHEQ manager.
David began his career in the late 1980’s as a trainee quantity surveyor for a multi-utility company in Borehamwood. Over the years David has taken on commercial roles on several pipeline and multi-utility projects. David now directs all commercial aspects of the business.
The Darke group of companies have extensive workshops close to Peterborough and encompass Darke Engineering, Darke Steel and Darke Tech. The group offers a wealth of experience in fabrication, finishing and installation. The Darke group workshops occupy a self-contained area of 4.3 acres just off junction 16 on the A1M at Stilton, three miles south of Peterborough in Cambridgeshire. The sister companies are:
