ABOUT KITCHENSMART LIMITED

Jan and Glen joined the Pulse Magazine team to help build advertising sales and increase awareness of the magazines in Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire.

I have been in the marketing and advertising business since graduating from University and with age comes experience, which is paramount in this industry. I have worked my way up through the ranks, giving me an invaluable experience of every aspect of magazine production - but I am still learning and love the challenge associated with this growing and thriving business.

Pulse Magazine was primarily created to offer local businesses a place to advertise effectively and to give the local community something they would enjoy reading and I believe we have certainly achieved that.

At Pulse magazine, we are a diverse bunch who offer an array of skills and expertise, but some things we all share: an enthusiasm for amazing customer service, coupled with massive ambitions for our business and a work ethic that’s matched only by our appetite to be the most popular local magazine.

You may have spoken to all of us at some point or you may have just dealt with one person, either way we would like you to know us all a little bit more and we are delighted to introduce you to just a few of the people who make up our thriving team. They’ll tell you, in their own words, about them and their work at our magazine.

I have worked with Pulse Magazine since it launched in 2009. In the early years it was 'all hands on' to build the business, sharing all the necessary jobs; I now focus on the accounts and credit control. I love my job and although I should be enjoying my retirement, I take great pleasure in the role that I now play.

I joined Pulse Magazine in April 2015 and thoroughly enjoy and thrive on the challenges of my role as an Account Manager. I love speaking to people, learning about their business and helping to promote themselves.

A more cost-effective method, your leaflet will be delivered with a maximum of four other non-competing leaflets. Simple and effective, this method of distribution is staggered over a period of days depending on the quantity and your leaflet will be seen by homeowners and decision makers, as soon as it hits the doormat. It is perfect for startup businesses and those on a budget. Prices start from £30 per 1,000 based on quantity and areas.

A valued and well-read local Magazine, we invite a maximum of four businesses to deliver their leaflets with the Magazine each month. Each leaflet must be from a different industry, meaning you will not be delivered with a competitor's leaflet. Delivery with Pulse Magazine gives your brand credibility since our readers not only welcome and absorb leaflet advertising, they also trust it. You can select any of our delivery areas in Northamptonshire or Buckinghamshire to accompany the Magazine. Prices start from £30 per 1,000 based on quantity and areas.

Yes of course! We are always on the lookout for interesting editorial; we want to know about things going on in the local community and love to be able to help charities. So if you have something to send, don't be shy, get in touch. Please note that if your editorial simply sells your services there is a charge for its inclusion.

We are a monthly publication and aim to have every magazine delivered by the 1st of each month. Deliveries usually commence around 24th, for the following month's deliveries.

Can you help me with designing my advert?

At the point of writing we have over 75 delivery staff who work in rain, wind and shine to ensure Pulse Magazine is delivered on time each and every month. Our team take pride in making sure the Magazine is delivered in perfect condition straight through the letterbox at home (and sometimes at work).

Sure - we are always on the look out for delivery people. You just need to fill out the form on our web site on our

Pulse Magazine reaches a readership demographic that others do not. This slick publication, with its insightful understanding of the area, its businesses and inhabitants is the main reason I collaborated with Pulse Magazine. I began my association with Kerry and Yvonne late last year with a view to creating a Beauty Section. We launched #PulseBeauty in March 2015 and I write the two-page beauty column.

We have advertised in MK Pulse a few times and each time we have had a great response. We are now supporting more primary school children with their reading because local volunteers have seen the advert in Pulse Magazine and gave us a call. I would definitely recommend advertising with this fabulous Magazine.

We have advertised in NN Pulse since its first issue in September 2015. In addition to doing a great job of raising our business profile across Northamptonshire, our regular half page advert continues to generate good quality leads every month. We are delighted at the response and have no hesitation in recommending this excellent magazine to other businesses looking to build and develop their customer base across the county in a cost effective way.

I have advertised with the Pulse Magazine since its inception 5+ years ago and have stuck with it, as it always provides a response. We also love the look and feel of the magazine; it's classy and well laid out. It is important for a local business like ours to keep in the public's eye and Pulse Magazine provides us with that opportunity. Great bunch of people to work with too!

KitchenSMART Ltd
