ABOUT PINEHIRST DECORATING CONTRACTORS LIMITED

Pinehirst Decorators have now been established for five years, which I am personally very proud of. From a single office with myself and five painters we have grown into a professionally-run business with a turnover of £1.4m. We employ five office staff and 20 site-based painters and decorators, as well as additional sub-contractor painters as required to service our client’s individual needs.

As well as our original client base, whom we still work with, we have added many national contractors and large blue chip organisations. We very rarely work for a client only once, and have built the business on repeat custom. We do not have an large advertising budget, so we continue to keep our overheads low to keep us as competitive as possible whilst we grow.

Going forward, we see a bright future with a sustained growth in the business. We hope to continue to improve our environmental policy, with 0% of waste going to landfill, and pushing the use of more eco-friendly materials with low volatile organic compound (VOC) content and a higher lifespan, thus further reducing wastage. We have also recently introduced our first electric vehicle and will improve this ratio year-on-year.
