Whe I left the BBC in March 2010 I became freelance and set up my own business Howard Hopkins Limited. Since then I have worked on:

Last year I worked on the 2016 BAFTA film ceremony from the Royal Opera House in February, Sport Relief from The Olympic Park, The "Soap Awards" at Hackney Empire, The BAFTA tv awards and series 2 of the game show "Rebound". Also, as well as more shifts at BT there was series 14 of Strictly Come Dancing including one transmission from The Tower Ballroom Blackpool in November. There was another series of "Insert Name here" and an episode of "Agenda", both from Pinewood studios.In December I worked on the Blankety Blank Christmas Special at The London Studios.This year I have worked on The National Television Awards from the O2 Arena, The Big Fight live from both Olympia and Wembley and Comic Relief from Building 6 in the O2 Arena. I am now preparing for series 15 of Strictly Come Dancing.
