More about the people who work at Aquavet

Once Lisa's children had reached secondary school age, she decided she needed a new challenge in her life. She qualified as a Hydrotherapist and took over Aquavet in 2010, where she had worked tirelessly to expand the business and build a trusted team in order to lead the way in Canine rehabilitation.
I've worked at Aquavet for just over 3 years as a Hydrotherapy assistant.
Becky came to Aquavet in 2014 as a Hydrotherapy Assistant and qualified as a hydrotherapist (R.C.H.) in March 2017. She awaiting to gain her advanced treadmill qualification very soon.

bracken was only a few months old when his hip problem was diagnoised. He had stopped walking at times could not stand without help.Since having hydro at aquavet he walks runs on the beach playing ball swims in the sea. He does not need any pain relief his life is so much better. He is now a happy one year old Boarder Collie
Aquavets was life changing for Bernard (then aged 11)and for us. Bernard was losing all feeling in his legs and was becoming visibly depressed; being able to swim and chase his ball in the water gave him a new lease of life. He could walk further and was clearly a happier dog. He LOVED going to aquavets and so did I. The staff were so friendly and understanding. Bernard was nearly 13 when he passed away and I am sure the 2 years we attended the hydrotherapy sessions were invaluable in maintaining and improving his quality of life. He had acute spondolosis of the spine and severe arthritis which limited his movements, but in the water he was a puppy just playing and having fun as well as gaining invaluable exercise. I can not recommend this treatment highly enough

my rottie ruby did her cruciate and I can't thank the staff at aquavets enough for their wonderful care in getting her back to herself, their kindness and helpfulness was fantastic at such a distressing and worrying time with clear and helpful explanations and advice always given, well done to everyone. Ruby has had so much fun swimming that even though she is now better we continue to go for a weekly swim not only to maintain the benefits but because she thoroughly enjoys herself. I would highly recommend any dog owner to use such an excellent facility and team to care for their dog.
I have been taking my dog, Molly, to Aquavet for over 3 years now... Her prognosis wasn't good but regular treadmill sessions have given her a quality of life we couldn't have hoped for. She can still climb stairs and walk for an hour in the park...thank you for all your help and support.
