ICE COMMS Ltd (Internet Commercial Effectiveness) is a Devon based digital consultancy, specialising in providing advice, design and marketing services to businesses nationally and internationally on their online communications and marketing initiatives. We focus primarily on design, development, SEO and management of leading edge, accessible and dynamic e-commerce, marketing and product support websites with all associated e-marketing techniques and services.
The ICE COMMS studio is situated between Totnes and Ashburton, South Devon, both renowned creative hubs. All our Website and Marketing Services have been born from first-hand experience and are designed for flexibility, joined-up thinking and economies of scale, offering cost effective solutions and value for money services to businesses of all sizes from start-ups to multinationals.
With over 25 years in creative management roles in TV, theatre and commercial and digital design, director Mike Rickword founded ICE COMMS Ltd in Devon in November 2009.
Previously, Mike was a founding Director of Commercial Platforms International Ltd (CPi), a multi-disciplined digital agency and a division of Uniserve, the largest privately owned freight and logistics company in the UK.
With extensive experience covering most disciplines of creative management ranging from TV production to Web development and e-commerce management, Mike was pivotal in the set up and management of the global design centre for Alba plc, managing marketing services for over 15 years with 25 brands including Grundig, Breville, Bush, JCB and Cable & Wireless. Mike has also designed and managed major exhibitions throughout Europe and created showrooms in the UK, Europe and the Far East.
