ABOUT AMUCO (ILMINSTER) LIMITED

The business has grown from a single relief milker (Sandy), to a company now providing relief and contract milking services to more than 100 farms and we have over 85 staff on our books. All our staff are qualified and experienced herds-people. Several of our herdsmen have been with the company for more than eighteen years.

Due to the success of the business AGS became AGS (Ilminster) Ltd in 2003 and continued to offer a friendly and personal service.

Jane McCann joined the company in 2000 to help run the day to day rota for relief milking. She became heavily involved in all aspects of the business when AGS became a Ltd Company in 2003 and in 2005 Jane became involved with the financial side. In 2008 she became an Assistant Manager within the company.

Loretta Miller joined as a part time assistant to AGS in 2007 to deal with the day to day running of the milking business. She deals with the rota and many administration duties.

Amuco (Ilminster) Ltd was formed when in 2009 Jane was invited to join the company in an official capacity and although only working part-time, she is committed to the company to deal with the financial side and also looks forward to meeting with customers to renew services and to establish new business relationships.
