Amanda has extensive experience in the field of infertility and its treatment. She completed her training as a Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in 2005, and then undertook subspecialty training in Infertility and Reproductive Medicine at Cardiff. She is the only female consultant in Wales who has dual accrediation in both gynaecology and reproductive medicine.
She graduated initially from Aberdeen University. She undertook research in Bristol which resulted in her obtaining her MD Thesis. She is a specialist in all aspects of infertility and reproductive medicine, but has a particular interest in recurrent implantation failure and recurrent miscarriage.
Helen also has an MA in psychotherapy and is not only passionate about embryos, she also cares about the emotional journey patients undertake during fertility treatment. Helen will be leading CRGW's IMSI program.
Karen has worked in the field of reproduction for 10 years including 6 years at IVF Wales. She has a PhD in Embryology and is one of the countries experts on the process of fertilisation.
Jodie graduated with honours from Coventry University. Jodie then returned to Wales where she utilised her critical care skills in her first staff nurse post on a busy Trauma & Orthopaedic ward. Two years later Jodie became a fertility nurse at IVF Wales in the University Hospital of Wales. Since specialising in fertility, Jodie has not looked back and has achieved qualifications in Women's Health and Gynaecological Ultrasound. She joined the CRGW team in November 2012 and is the donor sperm co-ordinator for the clinic. Jodie will become a popular face during treatment as she plans treatments with you, scans before treatment, performs embryo transfers and pregnancy scans!

"I have rarely experienced a company that displayed so much empathy, commitment to service and a desire to help, than with the team at CRGW"
"The facility is excellent, with state of the art technology. I found it incredibly comforting to be surrounded by such a highly trained and experienced medical team, and this gave me a great deal of confidence in the IVF process at CRGW"
"The team at the CRGW clinic demonstrated an exemplary level of customer care and empathy and were always on hand to answer questions and offer reassurance"
"We have never felt in such safe hands, CRGW were head and shoulders above our previous clinic"
"We would highly recommend the CRGW clinic to anyone considering IVF or fertility treatments"
"thank you so much to everyone at the clinic! Obviously you gave us our long dreamed of result, which is amazing. But we also wanted to thank you for the way you work as a clinic. We arrived quite fraught and slightly traumatised (!) by our experiences at another clinic, where we felt we were never listened to or treated as human beings. It was incredibly empowering to be treated like thinking, feeling adults at CRGW and actually we both felt our stresses melting away through the cycle rather than mounting up, which I'm sure helped. It was just stuff like being recognised when we walked in, being talked to as adults, being listened to, feeling involved in the decisions and the general friendliness of everyone who works there but it made the world of difference"
The results of our patient satisfaction questionairres help us to improve patient care and respond to patient needs. A new questionairre has been produced as a result of the survey above which has began being used by patients to further accomodate patient suggestions.
A semen analysis if needed (the sample has to be brought to CRGW prior to treatment for assessment)
