Sara has held positions of executive financial responsibility in both national and international companies but prefers to specialise in accounting for small businesses. Over the years, she has gained valuable experience managing the financial statutory obligations of many companies, while never losing sight of the day-to-day bookkeeping of the smaller end of business, by being an active volunteer as a treasurer for charitable and fundraising organisations.
However, it is Sara’s experience of being a small business owner that has given her a vital insight into the unique demands that the self-employed and small business owners face.
Having also been a member of various business networking organisations, such as the Federation of Small Businesses, she has had the privilege of meeting many other small business owners who consistently encounter problems keeping on top of their accounts. The most common grievance of such companies is the amount of professional fees they have no choice but to pay at year end.
