McNeil Commercial was founded by Jamie McNeil who is a
(MRICS) and fellow of the chartered institute of arbitrators (FCIArb). Jamie lives and works in Bath and provides professional property advice for clients across the UK.
Jamie is on the RICS presidents panel of Arbitrators and is an accredited RICS mediator. McNeil commercial commenced trading in the Autumn of 2009. Read Jamie’s journey on starting this firm:
“Prior to starting McNeil Commercial I spent a lot of time advising the UK’s largest and most successful commercial property landlords at UK consultancy firms Workman LLP and GVA Grimley. I also worked in Washington DC for the largest privately owned, full service real estate company in the DC Metro area – Donohoe.
During this time I felt that many business tenants could have benefitted from cost effective professional property advice but were just not getting it either because they did not know where to go or because the costs were prohibitively expensive.
I did not like what I saw with many businesses ending up paying too much and I wanted to help them. I decided that I would set up my own firm initially specialising in helping occupiers.
Due to the success of the firm and demand from landlords we quickly expanded our service offer to provide our core services to both landlord and tenants. ”
