Back in 2000, our founders, George and Greg started Synetec with not much office light and a very big dose of guts. With a few key clients, momentum caught hold and the team started growing. Slowly at first, but with additional skills, technologies and the right attitude, the company has grown into a industry leader.
Since we’re completely owned by our management team and co-founders , we’re taking the company forward in a organic and responsible fashion! Our clients needs change as the economic environment does. We respond with up-to-date leading technology, however our focus always remains on the basics – quality and efficiency.

George & Greg have been developing, designing and reviewing software alongside each other for almost 20 years. Together they have taken Synetec from it’s infancy, in home offices and a dark dingy basement to a dynamic, and slightly more polished establishment in Central London offices.
George started his career with US-software giant EDS, becoming the youngest manager in the company’s history and has since gone on to lead Synetec where he has continued to deliver world-class solutions for a number of the UK’s most prestigious Hedge Funds and Family Offices. George is a regular conference speaker on the implementation of technology within the financial services industry with a particular focus on delivering ROI and improving key business drivers. George has lectured on Microsoft development and has served as a director on numerous company boards.
Gregory holds a BEng degree in Software Engineering and began his career at TBWA Worldwide before joining RAB Capital, a specialist FSA regulated asset manager, based in central London. He has gone on to work on a diverse range of bespoke software projects for some of the UK’s leading financial service providers, combining his experience of hedge funds with a focus on the full spectrum of financial system derivatives and FX trading systems.
