After that, he worked for a local Specialist-for-BMW-vehicles which he helped grow and expand into an established Service & Repair centre for BMW vehicles during 2006-2009.
After planning his business during 2008, James opened Redish Motorsport in 2009 and hasn't looked back since!
In 2009 the company was incorporated and became Redish Motorsport Ltd.
In 2010 the company moved from it's humble beginnings in a small workshop in Kingswood Bristol, to it's current modern, almost-new, workshop in Bishopsworth Bristol.
In 2012 we took on our first employee Luke who brought a whole new fresh skill set to the business and has grown to be admired for his conscientious work ethics and extreme care & attention by our customers.

In September 2014 we took on 1 more staff member; Svend, for the Redish Motorsport workshop. Svend brings us a wealth of knowledge over the 40 years he's been in the motor trade. He has the unique OCD-ness which we strive for when rebuilding Engines, Axles, Chassis's, Undersides etc. He also served several years at the same local BMW main dealer as James.
Redish Motorsport Ltd operate from an almost newly-built, modern, light, and importantly - clean premises in south Bristol.
With 4x 3-phase Maha (BMW approved) vehicle lifts, 100's of BMW specialist tools, BMW diagnostics including ISTA-D & ISTA-P, DIS, GT1, INPA, SSS, Progman, Navcoder, to name a few, plus many individual pieces of equipment from MIG & TIG welding equipment, plasma cutters, fabrication equipment etc, we are capable of carrying out the majority of enquiries we receive.
