Our highly skilled employees come from a variety of backgrounds with up to 30 years experience in this specialised design, manufacturing and installation industry. The considerable skill of the team including mechanical production engineers, graduate design engineers, skilled sheet metal workers, fabricators and mechanical fitters enables us to bring a high level of expertise and capability to design, manufacture, install and commission plants and systems to suit each customer’s requirements. We also train apprentices ensuring the next generation of employees have the necessary skills to maintain our standard of excellence.
The latest 3D software is used to continuously design and develop all of the I.S.S. range, including one-off customer specified plants. This gives great advantage as we can work together with the customer to give them the ultimate plant arrangement, thereby maximising their productivity. The rendered 3D models produced also give the customer a realistic visualisation of what their new plant will look like and enable them to make any alterations before the manufacture stages begin. This gives the customer complete control. CAD Map software is used within the design stages to route ducting to the correct specification, from simple to highly complex installations. This innovative 3D software can be used with existing factory layouts to easily route your new ducting.
At our facility in North Manchester we have invested in some of the latest automated CNC machinery and CAM software packages in order to maximise production and overall product quality. This enables quality automated repetition which makes it possible to meet some of the most demanding deadlines.
We have dedicated installation teams who are trained in-house to maintain excellent workmanship and also work to strict H & S regulations. This enables I.S.S. to continuously deliver a high level of expertise throughout the period of a project and furthermore a products life.
Commissioning
We offer a comprehensive range of plant commissioning. We have invested in some of the latest diagnostic, data logging and test equipment. This helps us to ensure that our installed facilities will give years of trouble-free service. For extended services we also offer a range of service contracts. This enables customers to keep their new plant in excellent condition, providing virtually endless maximum efficiency.
ISS have provided fantastic customer service throughout this project, bending over backwards to meet the requirements of Cummins and always going the extra mile to ensure that this plant met the strict needs of our production requirements. No other company that I have worked with during my time at Cummins has been so accommodating to our needs. This dedication and the confidence it has instilled to us in ISS shows in the repeat business that Cummins has awarded to ISS at our sites across the UK.
I.S.S. conducted all work on site within schedule and conducted themselves in a professional manner providing all necessary documentation at the front end of the project and also causing minimal disruption to our production flow. Communication and support has been excellent from start to finish and Cascade would not hesitate in using I.S.S. for future projects. The installation has now been commissioned and has more than fulfilled Cascades requirements.
