Craftasmic owners Julie and James opened their first retail store in their home town of Taunton, Somerset in June 2009 and progressed to become one of the major UK online independent specialist craft retailers, now with a Somerset based Distribution Unit.
Julie has enjoyed paper crafting for a long time and James has spent many years in the design industry. Bringing these backgrounds together formed what has now become an established independent family run business, across two generations of the family.
The name Craftasmic came from the three words ‘craft’, ‘fantastic’ and ‘magic’ and our strap line of ‘dream it, make it’ depicts how we hope to inspire our customers. We have visited local craft groups and also welcomed TV celebrity crafters for amazing weekend events; these have included Sue Wilson, Julia Watts, John Lockwood, Phill Martin and Hels Sheridan!!
It’s important to us that the products we stock are of a good quality at equally good prices, sourced from well known, major trusted brands. From the start, we have built our reputation by trying and testing out as many of the products as possible that we sell in order to give our customers peace of mind. We look to be honest with our customers about the products we sell and the service we provide and share as much information about this as we can within our help guide. There are no hidden costs or extras, for UK addresses we offer free p&p on orders over £20.00 and our postage costs start from as little as £2.95. European deliveries start from just £3.99 and International deliveries start from £7.99.
Craftasmic is a member of the Association For Creative Industries (AFCI) who's main focus is to help and support craft retailers and suppliers to build on this evergrowing industry. This in turn allows us to help our customers discover all that is great about the world of crafting!

Please note that this location is Craftasmic's point of contact for our online customers needing to mail or return items to us. It is not a retail premises and therefore unfortunately we are unable to receive visitors, apart from customers using our pre-booked click and collect service.
We also have a ‘testimonials’ section where we’d love you to leave feedback for other customers and ourselves to see. Once you’ve purchased a product from us you can even write a review about that product to help other crafters in making their decision on what’s the right creative products for them to choose. These reviews can be written and submitted directly on the product page itself.
