In order to use Assistive Technology effectively, it is vital that students complete the training programs provided by STAT Northern. The software and technology available can assist in every stage of a task; from effective learning in lectures through to the successful completion of credible reports and assignments.
Students need the knowledge of how to effectively use their Assistive Technology in order to reap the full benefits from it. This is where STAT Northern can help! Our friendly, professional and dedicated trainers expertly tailor programmes that align with the Assistive Technology students have been specifically provided with. At this point, students have two options when choosing the next step of their structured training. Training sessions can be held at the student's home or University, providing flexibility and fitting in with their other commitments. Alternatively, STAT Northern now offer remote training, provided over the internet. Both types of training will be provided on a 1-to-1 basis that will boost the overall outcome and learning experience for the student.
