Who We Are
MBM Landscapes Ltd. was created in 2009 by Brett and Jo Patmore, a Husband and Wife team who began the company with just a handful of employees. Year upon year this has grown considerably as more and more work is undertaken by the company, largely due to the excellence of prior work generating new business and also tireless work to keep the company moving onwards and upwards.
As we move into 2018 the company is growing even more and now has a total of 28 employees, including an Operations Manager and a Contracts Manager.
Brett has worked in the landscaping industry for twenty years and as a result has an extensive, almost unparrelled knowledge of the sector. There really isn't a thing about plants he doesn't know. He certainly doesn't confuse his Phormium's with his Photinia's! Brett has been the face of MBM from day one and his dedication, determination along with huge swathes of hard work has been the reason the company is where it is today. As we go into a new year Brett is focusing on growing the company even more and generating new business.
Jo Patmore - Company Secretary
Jo has worked for the company since the beginning and really epitimises the saying, "Behind every great man is a great woman". Without her the company simply wouldn't be able to run anywhere near as efficently as it does presently. She puts massive amounts of work in behind the scenes. For example doing the accounting, wages and other vital duties, all done usually at unsociable times. Jo has an equal work ethic to Brett and has put colossal efforts into making MBM a success.
With previous experience in the fields of landscaping and banking, Bryan joined MBM in December 2013 as Operations Manager to assist in the running of the company and to ensure things go as smoothly as possible.
Known as 'Jay', Jerome began work with MBM in 2013, and is now our contracts manager. He is responsible for running works on site and overseeing our landscape supervisors to make sure all works run as smoothely as possible. Jay also communicates with our clients and site managers to organise, plan, progress and program in works. Jay's supervisory skills help to keep our standards very high.
Cheryl joined in late 2017 and has helped us to maintain our high standards. She oversees maintanence contracts as well as supervising our maintanence teams. As well as this she liaises with clients.
Dererk joined the MBM team in June 2016 after impressing through a job application and interview. Derek lives in Clacton and has had a variety of different jobs in the past including at a Tesco Warehouse, catering delivery company and many more. Away from work Derek enjoys golf.
James recently joined the company in the summer of 2017 and has learnt a lot of skills already. He works on maintanence mostly with Derek at a variety of our sites. James is a family friend of Jo and Brett's and is a hard worker.
