Who We Are
(formerly Eat Live Breathe) is a multi-facetted design consultancy run by brand communications expert Gary Ingram. Although the experience is big and broad the company ethos and indeed passion, stems from the idea of honest relationships. Our personable, intimate service enables our core team to creatively drive projects forward and in new directions, whilst remaining true to the clients’ expectations and brief.
Gary graduated from the LCP in 1990 where he gained an HND in Typography. He started his career at Butler Cornfield Dedman working on a range of the UK’s top leisure brands. He followed this with a spell at Corporate Graphics International working on the roll out of numerous brands across Europe. Gary then joined Saatchi & Saatchi as a Senior Designer. Here he worked on a range of international brands and honed his skills of managing teams on global projects, photo shoots and design for high level professional services. His next move was to Philosophy, where he developed client relationships and furthered his skills on Annual Reports & Accounts.
Career highlights include Bass Taverns (Signing standards), Boots (Press shows), Bulmers (Annual Reports and art direction), Centre Parcs (Identity and National roll out), Hollywood Bowl (Identity and National roll out), JCB (Marketing materials), NEG (Train liveries, identities and signing standards), Prestat (Marketing materials), Premier Oil (Annual Reports), Royal & Sun Alliance (Annual Reports and art direction), Toyota (Fleet brochures and art direction). In 2003 Gary started working for himself, and in 2009 created Eat Live Breathe, now under it’s new Company name ‘Brand-ing’, where he is Creative Director. He has continued adding to their growing ambition and portfolio of diverse clients.

After graduating from Glasgow School of Art in 1997, his first role as a designer was with Tayburn in Edinburgh. Del worked with many high profile clients, specialising in corporate literature and branding. During this time Tayburn was awarded ‘Scottish design agency of the decade’. In 2001 he moved to London, working for AGA before taking a senior position at Philosophy, a design consultancy who specialise in branding and literature. Since 2006 he has worked as a freelance designer, developing close partnerships with several design companies as well as working on his own projects.
