Abbotsgate was established in 1977 as a commercial print supplier to Hull & East Yorkshire businesses. Although we only started with a few staff and a couple of presses, we have grown to become a name you can rely on supplying print all over the UK.
Today we still employ the skilled workforce and principles but we enjoy the modern technology allowing us to offer the vast array of products. There are so many variables in print, it would be an endless task to price up every variation within a printed product, so if you can’t find what you are looking for it doesn’t mean we don’t do it!
You will find within our price guide the most common products used, with stocks which we have sourced specific for the job. All of which are FSC accredited from sustainable forests. We use vegetable oil based ink which is not only biodegradable but have the added benefit of being easier to remove from recycled paper and print during the de-inking process of recycling.
Our service is based on you (the customer) sending “Print Ready Artwork”, this makes our service fast and efficient, however this does not mean we can’t do the artwork for you. As a new customer we don’t want there to be a cost for you to switch print providers so we offer a Free Artwork Switching Service which covers any regular print orders of Business Cards, Stationery, NCR, Envelopes, etc. For everything else our rates are extremely competitive! With every product within our Price Guide we have indicated a production time, a standard stock and a price, we know not every business fits the same standard structure so please don’t hesitate to ask us for a bespoke quotation for any print enquiry you may have.
In 2014 we added a new Mimaki wide format printer to our production suite. After several months of product trials we are now pleased to offer this new display service as part of our everyday product range.
Our core display products; Roller Banners and PVC Banners are included in our price guide, but we can also supply everything you need to display your media, including Cable Display Systems, Poster Cases/Frames, Leaflet Stands, etc.
