I am Roger Cameron and I have been practicing as a Surveyor for approximately thirty years. Early experience was with Loss Adjusting for structural damage investigation such as subsidence before moving to valuation and survey work. I have seen employment with large organisations such as Halifax Surveyors and Tesco in the field of IT, before returning to the field for day to day surveys with smaller organisations.

We appreciate the fact that the services we provide can come at a particularly stressful time. With this in mind we will do our utmost to guide you through the property information we provide and endeavour to keep comments in the correct context. Our ultimate aim is that the advice provided adds value and comfort and in the future you recommend or return as a repeat customer.

In addition to a property Valuation, we offer two types of condition survey which are specifically designed to help home buyers.

A survey will help you to make a reasoned and informed decision on whether to go ahead with buying a property. Before you decide to commit yourself legally, you can limit the risks by asking a Chartered Surveyor to answer the following questions for you.

The reason for this is that the mortgage valuation report is prepared for your lender – not for you, the borrower. It answers only the lender’s questions about whether the property offers suitable security for your loan. You cannot rely on it to answer the questions that concern your personal interests or to give you details of the condition of the property. Also, some lenders do not provide a copy of their mortgage valuation report.
