Funky Voices sets itself apart from other community choirs offering singers a multitude of varied experiences ranging from once in a lifetime performance opportunities, chances to travel the world and also take part in the recording of albums. Every singer has the fantastic opportunity to learn up to 50 songs per year, perform at over 100 events, tour and compete in music festivals local and worldwide, record multiple albums for iTunes, appearances on TV and radio and perform alongside hugely established music artists. All Funky Voices singers are given these incredible opportunities, although everyone is more than welcome to take as little or as much out of their experience as they would like to.

Funky Voices winning performance at "The International Choral Festival" in Barcelona - May 2015
Over 160 singers from Funky Voices took part in the Festival where they performed alongside and competed against multiple choirs from across the globe. As part of the Festival, Funky Voices were given the opportunity to perform in some of the City's most iconic performance locations including popular music venue Palau de la Musica in Central Barcelona. Funky Voices were later awarded for having the 'best conductor' and for being the 'best overall choir' of the entire festival bringing the trophy home for Essex and the UK!

We took part in World Busk Day for Musequality on 11th June 2014 amongst 871 other participants across 21 different venues worldwide. It has now been confirmed that we successfully contributed to the Guinness World Record for the 'Largest Busk at Multiple Venues'.
