ABOUT WAINSCOT INTERIORS LIMITED

THE COMPANY WAS FOUNDED by joint Directors Richard Taylor & James Dobbs in 2009. Wainscot interiors has grown steadily with a team of highly skilled joiners with an ever increasing client base have come to appreciate the combination of traditional craftsmanship mixed with modern design skills and exceptional service.

Richard Taylor has spent over 35 years within the Architectural Joinery Industry and has worked on many installation projects overseas. He was the Workshop and Project Manager, for Stuart Interiors on many of the UK’s most important historic buildings before setting up Wainscot Interiors.

James Dobbs is an inspiring and creative artisan with over 16 years experience. His enthusiasm for contemporary design brings a new dimension to the business blending modern day living with classical design, exquisite craftsmanship and exceptional service.

Together they have a combined commitment to maintain exceptional product quality, and engaging in life long learning whilst maintaining a love for the business by seeking new opportunities that stretch and extend their skills.

This commitment has been the driving force behind the success of the business and the special company culture that clients experience as soon as they walk through the door.

We focus on bringing customers’ ideas and vision to fruition using traditional woodworking tools and techniques.
