About Rumps
At Rumps of Warwick we know a thing or two about meat. Our long heritage and experience means that you can rely on Rumps to deliver a superior quality and service for all of your meat and poultry requirements.
Rumps started out as a high street butchers shop in the centre of Warwick, but has since evolved into a well-established Catering Butchers, operating out of a dedicated production facility on the outskirts of town.
With a credible list of clients, Rumps has developed a very loyal following in the local area and is now starting to push out into the farther reaches of the Midlands and Cotswolds.
2016 was a pivotal year for Rumps, as it was acquired by the E.Russell Group which has meant much greater levels of investment and input from the owners, Tim Stone and Russell Parsonage. We are very excited about the future opportunities, as the target market has been dominated by one or two key players for far too long

Our Business Today
I think of us today as a high quality butchery business, but one that has an extremely competitive footprint, complemented by the efficient equipment and skill sets to enable us to differentiate ourselves and add value in the supply chain.
We all love what we do at Rumps, and I feel really lucky to work with a team of incredibly skilled, enthusiastic and talented people and most importantly, to see so many customers enjoying our products and service.
Today we are adding value to our client’s businesses, often through creating bespoke products, and in doing so strengthening our relationships.
Our philosophy is to source products that are reared locally, using farming methods that give the animal a healthy and happy life. Farming in this way means that our meat is ethically produced with flavour in mind, and in trying to source locally, we minimize impact on the environment.
Rumps is monitored and approved by the Food Standards Agency and is in the process of gaining BRC Approval. The BRC Global Standards is a leading safety and quality certification program, used by over 22,000 certificated suppliers in 123 countries, with certification issued through a worldwide network of accredited certification bodies.
The Standards guarantee the standardization of quality, safety and operational criteria and ensure that manufacturers fulfill their legal obligations and provide protection for the end consumer.
