5th Dimension Tooling Ltd is an established company offering a personal and professional tool design and development facility. Using the latest CAD/CAM software packages and utilising three and five axis CNC machining, we offer a rapid, high quality and cost effective service.
The company was formed in 2009 by its Directors Gerry Hart and Gary Wood, later joined by Neil Greenwood. As a time-served Patternmaker, Gerry has worked in the tooling industry for more than 30 years. In the past 15 years his expertise has been in 3D tooling design and the programming of three and five axis CNC machines whilst holding the position of CAD/CAM manager.
Also a time-served Patternmaker, Gary has a wealth of experience gained over 25 years working in this sector. Previously responsible for all production and quality control, his specialty lies in composite tooling - experience gained mainly in the aerospace, automotive and medical industries.
Our combined experience will allow us to have a good understanding of our customers’ requirements, enabling us to offer a service whereby we manage projects from the initial designs to the finished product with the minimum of supervision.
- 5th Dimension Tooling are to proud to have recently supported a team competing in the gruelling Tour Ride Worcestershire, which is a 40-mile cycle tour of Worcestershire in order to raise funds for Mary Stevens Hospice.
- We are expanding at our current location on Brymill Industrial Estate and will be occupying Units 3, 4 and 5. This will enable us to expand our operations and facilitate all operations under one roof. We have moved our Composites Division from Bloomfield Park into a purpose built facility at Brymill.
- We are pleased to announce we will be exhibiting at this year’s Advanced Engineering Show, Hall 5, NEC, Birmingham on 11th and 12th November 2014. We would like to invite you to come and join us on Stand D113 in the Composites Engineering section.
