Once you’ve decided that C&F Hockey Club is right you or your family and you’ve tried at least one of the above, you must register for membership. You can become a playing member or there is non-playing membership (no charge) for those that want to help out as a volunteer. By becoming a club member you qualify for club insurance, you gain access to a vibrant club, good social events throughout the year, comfortable local facilities, Camberley Cricket Club (on match days) and one of the best pitches in the area.

Unfortunately hockey is not extensively taught in schools, which is a shame as many miss the opportunity to experience the joys of playing an exciting team sport, however, in an attempt to counter this we provide coaching in local schools, which includes running taster sessions and after school clubs.
We have for many years been closely involved in organising an annual local junior schools tournament, and we provide coaching on behalf of Surrey Heath Borough Council for the annual Surrey Youth Games. Where the hockey teams have won gold medals at every age group in the last few years.

Speaking about the nominations, Ali Gardner said: “It is a huge honour to see the team nominated after achieving back-to-back promotions, moving from Surrey Division 5 up to Surrey Division 3 in the last two seasons. To see the hard work and efforts of everyone involved – not just the players, but coaches, umpires and those who volunteer their time to help and support the club – acknowledged and rewarded in this way is truly special.
