The desire was to put the fun back into buying sweets, by creating an old fashioned sweet shop. The shop would specialise in selling traditional sweets toffees and fudges out of old fashioned glass jars alongside a range of luxury handmade chocolates.
In 1986 there were few such shops and luxury chocolates were only available from specialist retailers. The shop was an instant success and realising how important the chocolates had become to the business Andrew and Sheila decided to open their own factory and develop their own exclusive recipes.
Today as then Hamiltons chocolates are handmade using Belgian chocolate and only the finest ingredients. The delicious centres are made with natural flavours real liqueurs and spirits and real fruit purees thus ensuring a truly mouth watering taste experience.
Here at Hamiltons we have a real passion for chocolate and the chocolates that we make. To enhance the experience of receiving a box of Hamiltons chocolates, we have chosen packaging that is sophisticated, exclusive and reflects the luxury nature of the brand. Hamiltons chocolates are only available at our shop in Broadway, on line or from independent specialist retailers, you will not find them on the shelves of main stream retailers or supermarkets.

Andrew and Sheila Campbell established Hamiltons Chocolates in the Cotswold village of Broadway in 1986 and manufacture their own recipe luxury handmade chocolates in their factory in Alcester, Warwickshire.
You can't beat the taste of our handmade chocolate collection. Our luxury chocolates contain the very finest of ingredients and because they are handmade in small batches they do not contain the things that have to be added when chocolates are mass produced and kept for a long time. All of our recipes are unique, generally dreamed up by Andrew or Sheila and perfected after making mix after mix after mix.
Hamiltons have a wide selection of Corporate gifts and ideas for school PTA's and we wholesale our chocolates and luxury gift boxes to individual retailers in all manner of businesses from sweet shops to garden centres and florists. Corporate functions are catered for as well as an entirely custom made service to meet your special requirements.
