Edgcott House is a historic country home situated in the heart of Exmoor National Park, Somerset. Nestled amongst beautiful Moorland, sweeping Oak-lined Valleys and the beautiful rugged coastline, Edgcott House is a luxurious bed and breakfast and is a perfect place to relax or use as your base to explore our beautiful surroundings.
We have taken great care to restore each of the 7 bedrooms at Edgcott house to the highest possible standards, with beautiful furnishings and modern appliances ensuring that you’ll have everything you need to enjoy an extra special stay with us.
King, Queen and Twin bedrooms are all available, with room for cots which we can provide upon request. Each room is fully equipped with the finest quality linens, and luxurious bathroom products to pamper yourself with. High speed Wi-Fi is available in every room as well as coffee and tea making facilities and flat screen TV. You can check in with us from 4pm. A slice of homemade cake will be waiting for you upon arrival. Check out is at 11am.

Edgcott House is owned by Penny & Simon. Penny has worked in the catering industry for over 30 years, most recently running her own, very successful outside catering company in Surrey for 24 years. Simon trained as an engineer before moving into the IT industry and then joining Penny's catering company. Together their high standards and customer service led approach made the company one of the largest and most successful in the area.

Exford is a small but well appointed village with all the facilities you would want from a retreat on Exmoor. There are two pubs within a 10 minute walk of Edgcott House serving local beers and a variety of food options. The local village shop is small but has everything you could need for a bite of lunch or a snack.It also houses the Post Office.
