Our factory and warehouse based in Leeds gives us the ability to badge, embroider or print all the logos we provide for the schools. Every part of the process can be tracked and standards of quality can be maintained as we do not out-source any

The main objective when I founded SPT Uniforms in 2008 was to sell quality uniforms at affordable prices. I have 2 children myself and know how expensive school uniform can cost. With the help of my husband we devised a model on minimal overheads. The internet was our main goal for the major part of the business plan to run in partnership with the shop in Garforth.
I am aware that certain supermarkets are doing their best to upset the school wear market by selling clothing at very low prices. Which in today’s economic climate would be a great relief to families, which I fully support. I decided that to sell cheaper poorer quality garments was not what I wanted to achieve. I have had parents who have had my blazers for 2 school years that if they are looked after properly are as good as the day they were bought. My sweatshirts keep there colour especially navy this colour can tend to be the first colour fade. Cheaper alternatives can fade very quickly which gives the impression your clothing is older than it actually is.
I have checked to the best of my abilities of all the suppliers we use to source products that they all follow a code of ethics. My personal ideal of ‘ethics’ include workers conditions and pay as well as environmental and social and economic conditions.
Recently within Bangladesh the Rana Plaza factory collapse has highlighted the lack of ethics from some of our high profile UK companies. Anyone can source a cheap overseas product the supplier is not interested in ethics only the profit. I pay more for my materials from the companies I use rather than use cheaper alternatives. You can be assured that I have been supplied from my suppliers their code of ethics and can say hand to heart they all have the same ethical beliefs I believe in. If we all follow a moral code we can all help people from all over the world from working in unsuitable and unacceptable conditions.
We work closely with The School Partnership Trust Academies to assist in providing new school uniforms to newly converted Academies. The total Logistical service we provides includes the measuring, sourcing, manufactoring and distributions of all the uniforms. Working with the academies we continue our service to provide parents with a good quality uniform at affordable prices. Saving parents money in these difficult economic times.
