Reflex are a family owned and run independent company that specialise in the provision of Sports surfaces. We initially formed as an advisory, specification and material supply company for indoor sports flooring with a reputation for technical excellence. As sports experts – we were often asked to install our systems and offer the complete package to our clients.
We can design and test truly bespoke sprung flooring in a variety of finishes – many of which are exported worldwide. With unrivalled knowledge of the sector our experienced team offer full specification, supply and installation service to our customers. Reflex Sports are pleased to have flourished into an organisation that is still run by the original owners alongside a dedicated crew of expert and highly experienced installers. We are dedicated to Health & Safety on all our projects and are CHAS Certified and WorkSafe Contractor Certified. We are also members of ConstructionLine, the UK Government Certification Service. Reflex are committed to providing education regarding sports flooring systems and are members of the RIBA CPD Providers Network. Reflex are also devoted to sustainability of timber products and are FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) & PEFC™ Chain of Custody Certified.
Mission Statement
Constant running, jumping, twisting and turning can place a great strain on athletes’ ankles, knees and hip joints. Underneath each Reflex playing surface there are highly engineered sub floor systems purpose designed to reduce stress, strain and muscle fatigue. Our mission is to design and install performance floors that not only enhance the sport but provide maximum comfort and safety for each participant. We aim to protect the athlete and also protect the integrity of our environment.
Create surfaces with long and durable life cycles that can be easily maintained. By creating durable systems this ultimately equates to lower quantities of materials being used, less manufacturing, less energy and resources used in the recycling process and reduced material in landfill at the end of the product lifespan.
Optimize facility usage by creating surfaces that provide versatility and structural integrity for multiple uses. For example our Reflex Portable system can transform an exhibition centre into a venue suitable for professional sport in a matter of hours
Promote the use of sustainable forestry by offering timbers with FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC™ certification in line with our strict environmental policy. Other components used within our products should be from renewable natural resources.
Provide environmentally friendly synthetic sports surfaces. Our Reflex Pulastic polyurethane floors feature the latest water based non-toxic top coat technology and our timber sports surfaces require no additional lacquers applied on site.
We firmly believe it is our responsibility to provide a sustainable product range. Reflex Sports are dedicated to sourcing materials from manufacturers with strong environmental policies. We can provide FSC® (Forest Stewardship Council®) and PEFC™ Chain of Custody Certification on timber products. Our Polyurethane surfaces feature the latest water based coating technologies.
