Social Value - Made Real is a 4 stage framework as shown in the wheel opposite. It is more than a monitoring and evaluation framework it can be applied to strategy development; performance management; funding programmes and commissioning; as well as monitoring and evaluation frameworks and evaluations.
We developed Social Value - Made Real in 2012/13 in response to the increasing demands on funders and providers of services to demonstrate: the impact and value of services and that that they are person centred. There is an increasing focus on social care/human services sectors to demonstrate how their interventions prevent crisis and the need for other more costly services. Go to
