David purchased the TPI for Packaging business in 2015 and has been involved in the packaging industry for over 30 years.
Sally, our Office Manager, has been with the business for 16 years so she knows more about us and our customers than anyone else.
The origins of TPI for Packaging can be traced back many years, starting we believe with the Robson Rope company based on Robson Street in Hanley Stoke on Trent.
In this picture from around 1957, the entrance to the rope works is marked by number 7. From this family business, Trent Paper Importers were subsequently formed and as this business grew and moved into extruding and converting polythene, along with the supply of a more diverse range of packaging products, the initials were used as the new name for the business: TPI for Packaging Ltd.

The TPI stock range of products is extensive and includes all the day to day items required by businesses in a multitude of markets. We hold millions of polythene bags, polythene sacks, covers and films along with a complete range of boxes, tapes, wrapping materials, loose fill, bubble rolls, postal bags, heat sealing equipment and strapping.
With the addition of our on-line shop facility we are also able to supply customers who are looking to purchase and pay for selected packaging products via the internet, delivered throughout the UK from our warehouse based in Stoke on Trent.
