As the founder of Switch Consulting, Martin has an extensive retail & retail recruitment experience throughout his career. After graduating Martin joined ASDA on their Graduate program before making the transition into Retail Recruitment in 2001. Martin worked and managed retail recruitment teams in London, the South East, Leeds and Manchester prior to setting up Switch Consulting in 2008. Martin has been fundamental in developing a recruitment business that encompasses the passion, ethics and honesty that the retail recruitment sector desires. With a tenacious and approachable manner, Martin is able to offer a consultative and experienced service to both candidates and clients alike.
After graduation, Nick spent 6 years working in retail, from Sales Assistant to Area Manager level with Carphone Warehouse and Aldi before moving into retail recruitment with a global blue-chip recruitment firm in 2005. Initially recruiting into retail operations, retail banking and the Welfare to Work sector, Nick progressed to manage teams across London and the South East before joining Switch Consulting in 2013. Nick focusses on senior retail operations, Welfare to Work and the healthcare sectors as well as developing Switch Consulting ‘s retail operations offering in London. With an approach of quality over quantity, Nick offers a consultative and honest service to clients and candidates as well as a broad understanding of commercial leadership.
Lennie joined Switch Consulting as a Director in June 2015 bringing a wealth of experience in Retail and the Retail Recruitment arena. After graduating with a BAA in Fashion Design & Marketing Lennie began a career in Fashion Retail working up to Area and UK Manager Level with Harvey Nichols, Replay,Pepe Jeans and LK Bennett. In 2003 Lennie moved into recruitment carving a niche in the Fashion & Lifestyle sector. She has managed a number of teams over the years covering many disciplines within the Retail industry. In recent years Lennie has focused on developing new recruitment models to complement the ever changing retail market. Lennie is heading up our Retail Talent Outsourcing Solution working across all functions across our business and Retail as a whole.
