Phoenix Specialist Contracting Ltd is a wholly privately owned independent Company, which provides specialist post tensioned, pre-stressing services and expertise through a highly motivated nucleus of staff who bring extensive experience to the Company gained at the highest professional levels in the post-tensioning industry both in the UK and Overseas. We work with the internationally renowned Tensacciai post tensioning systems and are the sole representatives for Tensacciai Srl in the UK. All the systems we use have full European Technical Approval.
PSC Ltd prides itself on the ability to Partner with its Clients and work as a fully integrated part of the Construction team to achieve efficiency and commercial viability in the design and construction of concrete frame structures so as to provide the end user with the best possible layout and maximum flexibility for the building. We are accredited to UK CARES Appendix PT for these works.
We provide advice on the Value Engineering of Structural Concrete Frames at all stages from feasibility through tender to final construction and completion on site and PSC Ltd can provide sub-contract packages at all levels to suit our Clients from full design, supply and install, through to supply and supervise only. We are always willing to discuss how best to tailor the package to suit our Client requirements.
PSC Ltd also provides services, which have synergy with Post-tensioning such as remedial, concrete repair and strengthening works for bridge structures and tanks as well as buildings.
PSC Ltd works closely with a small network of post-tensioning design Consultants in order to provide stream-lined and efficient design and detailing solutions for our projects. These designers work under our direction and supervision so as to ensure the design intent is not compromised. This also allows greater flexibility which is not restricted by in-house resource.
The Company is always willing to take on and master other Specialist Activities and is continually on the lookout for opportunities to provide niche market services within the Industry as part of our considered plan for development in the future.

Phoenix Specialist Contracting Ltd (PSC) was established in 2008 to provide a specialist service to the construction industry in the UK and overseas for design and installation of post tensioned, pre-stressing solutions in Buildings, Highways Structures and Civil Engineering Structures such as Silos, Tanks and containment vessels. We are UK
accredited and are members of the Post-tensioning Association (PTA). Other services we provide include concrete repair, remedial strengthening, jacking, lifting and sliding using strand jacks, structural bearing replacement and supply of shear connectors.
