C and L Engineering worked on a large-scale project for Chester Council, laying 6km of fiber optic cable ducting around the city centre. The team worked alongside other firms to complete the work in about five months.
Throughout the project, C and L Engineering employed local people from the Welshpool area, and the firm will continue to do so when undertaking projects which create extra temporary jobs.
C and L Engineering also lowered the water pipes in the cattle sheds, digging them deeper into the ground. This reduced the risk of water freezing in the pipes, and consequently causing a burst or a leak, which can be costly and inconvenient.
